As an instructional designer, I apply this problem-solving mindset and strategic thinking to each project. I have a passion for designing and developing effective, engaging and relevant learning experiences that cater to diverse learning needs. I firmly believe that effective instructional design is about understanding the learners as much as the content.

I delve into the root causes of performance gaps and challenges, write learning objectives and design develop learner-centered solutions to help meet business needs. I enjoy analysing concepts and identifying the best methods to logically deliver instruction while reducing cognitive load. I apply adult learning theories and use ADDIE to guide my instructional design process. I am proficient in Articulate Storyline, Canva and a variety of other tools to develop trainings, microlearning and eLearning courses.

Collaborating with peers, subject matter experts and stakeholders, I cultivate trusting relationships and facilitate discussions that uncover core challenges and ensure accuracy and alignment to business goals. Leveraging these relationships, I actively seek and embrace feedback, viewing it as a vital tool for refining and enhancing my work. I ultilise and implement feedback to create multiple iterations until the final product is developed.

Complemented by strong organisational and project management skills, I ensure successful completion of multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail. I can adapt quickly and implement new technologies and strategies to devise innovative approaches. Thriving on challenges, I continually seek opportunities for growth and improvement.
